Plot Summary
The film follows the story of Puttan Pal (Sanjay Mishra), a government employee who lives with his wife Noori (Pragati Pandey), his father Nag Pal (Vishwa Mohan Badola), his brother Gopal (Ranjan Chhabra), and his sister-in-law Suman (Disha Pandey). Puttan is frustrated with the rising prices of everything, from food to fuel to education. He is unable to save enough money for his father's kidney transplant or his brother's marriage. He also faces harassment from a loan inspector (Zakir Hussain), who threatens to seize his house if he fails to repay his loan.
One day, Puttan gets an idea from a news report about a farmer who got compensation from the government for crop failure due to drought. He decides to fake a heart attack and get admitted to a hospital under a government scheme that provides free treatment for poor people. He convinces his family to join him in his plan and pretend that they are also suffering from various ailments. He hopes that by staying in the hospital for a few months, he can save money on his expenses and also get rid of his loan inspector.
However, things do not go as planned. The hospital turns out to be a hellhole, where the patients are treated poorly and the doctors are corrupt. The family faces many difficulties and humiliations in the hospital, such as lack of hygiene, inadequate food, rude staff, and medical malpractice. They also have to deal with the consequences of their lies, such as losing their jobs, facing legal action, and losing their reputation. They realize that their idea was foolish and that they have made their situation worse.

Reviews and Reception
The film received mixed reviews from critics and audiences. Some praised the film for its honest and humorous portrayal of the common man's plight, while others criticized the film for its simplistic and limited premise, lack of depth, and poor execution. The film was also compared to Phas Gaye Re Obama, another satire film by the same production house, which was more successful and acclaimed.
The film was a box office disaster, earning only 84 lakh against a budget of 5 crore.
